Outstanding Texas Tax Lawyer Award The Outstanding Texas Tax Lawyer Award has been recognizing lawyers who have shown outstanding expertise and professionalism in the field of Taxation Law since 2003. This prestigious honor is awarded by the Council of the Section of Taxation at the Texas Federal Tax Institute. Past recipients have been recognized for their many contributions to the Tax Law community including: authorship of scholarly works relating to taxation law, significant participation in the State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association, and other professional legal organizations, pro bono activities, experience in academia and other qualifications. .
